Jared is the cofounder and CEO of Matey, leading a career marked by over 26 years of experience in both software technology and finance. Before serving as CTO for multiple startups, including Atlas, which was funded by Eric Schmidt, Jared enjoyed a successful 16year career in AIbased Quant Trading. Growing up, Jared spent the hot summer months indoors reading C and C++ books before his family finally owned a computer. Nowadays, when not attending University of Texas sporting events at his Alma Mater in Austin’s scorching summers, you’re more likely to find him enjoying water sports or lounging in a pool.
Hamza is the cofounder and COO of Matey. He was most recently the Director of Product at Atlas, which raised a seed round from Eric Schmidt to bring HFT to nonfungibles. Previously, he worked on Deep Learning at Tesla, was a PM at Google, and founded an edtech company that was acquired. You can find him playing racket sports or spending time with his six brotherinlaws.
Lochlan is the cofounder and Chief Scientist of Matey. Lochlan has most recently focused on bringing AI tools and innovations directly to end users, serving as a Chief Scientist with a mission to apply AI in practical, impactful ways. He has a deep passion for big data and machine learning, with over a decade of experience deploying models for toptier HighFrequency Trading Firms. Outside of work, you can find him sailing, flying, or exploring rivers and streams in search of trout.
